Cameron - fill in the blanks

"I know the British people - they are not [passengers], they are [drivers]". Thus Cameron at the Tory conference.

One - you don't know the British people, because there is no such animal - they are English, Scots, Welsh or Irish, and that's just the major geographical categories. And all of them will be offended by the suggestion that a soft-faced, soft-handed child of long-established privilege could possibly know anything about them.

Two - if you did know them, you would have used earthier words to describe what they are and are not.

  1. A la my experience of the last few days accompanying a terminal cancer patient to the Royal Marsden, this film reminds me much of the token sympathy offered the dying patient who has yet to realize - fully - his lack of options (a fresh fruit diet? apricot pit extract? group chanting?).

The correct answer, I am afraid, is Morphine. And such is the correct answer for those who seem unable to correctly agree with their
Novum Verum prescription from the authorized
Apocalyptic Prescription base. The alternative, you have already seen on the video described.

  2. "Novum verum prescription from the authorized Apocalyptic Prescription base"? Damn! After my several surgeries I have found Sisters Morphine and Demerol to be excellent nurses.
