Emoting in the
Guardian about the mass protests in France yesterday, veteran French lefty Martine Bulard (trans. Jessica Reed) makes we wonder whether our British arseholes are internationally competitive.
Suffering at work is more and more keenly felt by workers. Many protesters were on the record as saying that they simply "could not keep their job until 67 or older" – they are fighting to prevent being destroyed by their jobs.
Work is harmful - that's a new one. I wonder how many of the work-shy Brits who have managed to get on disability benefits share her point of view?
