Below are excerpts from an interview on
Al-Aqsa TV on 28 February this year with an arsehole called Abdallah Jarbu, the Deputy Minister of Religious Endowments of the Iranian front Hamas government of Gaza. Consider the implication of a Ministry of 'Religious Endowments' as you read.
They [Jews] suffer from a mental disorder, because they are thieves and aggressors. A thief or an aggressor, who took property or land, develops a psychological disorder and pangs of conscience, because he took something that wasn't his.
They want to present themselves to the world as if they have rights, but, in fact, they are foreign bacteria – a microbe unparalleled in the world. It's not me who says this. The Koran itself says that they have no parallel: 'You shall find the strongest men in enmity to the believers to be the Jews.'
May He [Allah] annihilate this filthy people who have neither religion nor conscience. I condemn whoever believes in normalizing relations with them, whoever supports sitting down with them, and whoever believes that they are human beings. They are not human beings. They are not people. They have no religion, no conscience, and no moral values.
Seems to me Britain fought to the death against precisely this sort of poisonous shit 65-70 years ago. And to the surprise of non-one possessed of the slightest historical awareness, the institutionally craven Foreign Office and BBC are reprising their contemptible performance of the 1930s.

I could not agree more with the general British consensus: Israel has entirely forfeited the right to defend itself by losing the media battle. I personally dislike the Israeli policies, particularly their leadership, Netanyahu is a disaster. But I would particularly like to look at their last defeat in the media wars when they bashed poor old Lebanon.
ReplyDeleteAfter the bombing raids on Lebanon, we were sadly forced to acknowledge that Hezbollah had used schools, hospitals, and other public areas to hide their offensive weapons. Did they not know that this would make them retaliatory bombing targets ? Then there was the revelation that the same 'victims' of Israeli bombing kept reappearing on the TV. Perhaps an accident? Or perhaps not?
Israel continues to support at least in some measure the poor citizens of Gaza who have been yea well and truly hijacked by Hamas, the dear friend and cousin of Hezbollah. And they have shown the same consideration for the local populace that was shown in the Israeli-Lebanese conflict. They are, in fact though not in the misled opinions of international sentimentality, the hostages of Hamas as much or more than the hostages of Israel.
The frightened pseudo-liberal response of British and Euro-passives continues to encourage and help to activate more Islamist aggressions. The faithless congregation of a bought and paid for media will no doubt have its well-deserved reward.
