As an American I am not so shocked that Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize without any accomplishments to his name; after all, America gave him the White House based on the same credentials.

I am trying to remember the names from that legion of undesirables who populate the list of Nobel 'Peace' laureates. Didn't Henry, 'the artful dodger' Kissinger win it once, and then Yasser Artifact along with Begin (the Beguine), then there's ....no doubt other corporate killers and gentrified goondhas. Obama has stainless hands compared with some of these highline trapezoidals but what exactly does the laureateship now represent?
